Crystal Spring Farm

Indigo Bunting
Crystal Spring Farm has been restored by the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust. It is now a community-supported, organic farm that provides fresh produce to members, and hosts Brunswick’s Saturday morning farmers market. The farm also supports several miles of trails through fields, woods, and blueberry barrens. Common warblers such as black-throated green, northern parula, and black-and-white are present throughout the wooded parcels. Eastern meadowlarks and bobolinks nest in the grassland, and field sparrows and eastern rowhees are possible on the field edges.

Directions: Proceed south on Maine Street in Brunswick. After passing Parkview Memorial Hospital, turn right onto Pleasant Hill Road. The farm is about a mile beyond the intersection. The farm can also be reached from Freeport. Take Bow Street to Mast Landing Road, turn left onto Pleasant Hill Road and proceed five miles past the intersection with Woodside Road.
