Bradbury Mountain State Park is open year-round. In winter, it is known for its trails for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. These trails are a natural for hiking in summer. Pines dominate the park and the birding will feature mostly common species much of the year. However, during spring migration in April, this can be one of Maine’s premier hawk-watching sites on a southerly or southwesterly breeze. There are fees year round.
